The Okotoks Oilers are pleased to announce the following staffing changes.
Brady Pupp
Brady has been promoted to Business Manager with responsibility for all business operations related to the team, and will report to the General Manager and Head Coach Tyler Deis. Brady previously served as the Oilers’ Business Operations Lead in the 2023-24 season. Brady’s hockey journey started in Calgary where he played at various levels. He went on to play junior hockey across Western Canada before departing to play hockey at NCAA Div. III Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin where he played for four seasons and graduated with a degree in Sports and Athletic Management. Congratulations, Brady!
Ryan Kanten
Ryan joins the Oilers as the club’s Business Operations Lead for the 2024-25 season. Ryan has responsibility for duties as assigned by the Business Manager. Ryan played minor hockey at various levels in Okotoks and continued his playing career in Junior B hockey with Okotoks/High River of the Heritage Junior Hockey League and Kelowna of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League. Mike Gould
Mike will serve as the Oilers’ Coordinator of Game Operations and Communications beginning with the 2024-25 season. Over the previous three seasons, Mike has been an integral part of the game day operations team, serving as public address announcer, play-by-play commentator, and social media coordinator, among other roles. Mike also has extensive media and journalistic experience and is currently a contributor to Daily Faceoff and FlamesNation as part of The Nation Network. Welcome to the team, Mike!
